I was a little surprised that Foundation plucked this beat out of my library to do his thing on. It’s about the loosest track I’ve ever put together (other than maybe Golden Gate…). Despite how loose and janky it is, his vocals just work. It’s a testament to how talented this dude is and why I love working with him. It’s pretty much to the point now that when I’m making a beat I know it’s gonna be a Foundation track pretty early in the process. The halfway point to the end blows my mind every time.
