Lost & Found is where it all started. This is the first official Briidges project, but really, it’s the product of over a decade of making music together. Johnny and I have been bouncing ideas off each other forever—reggae, metal, punk, dubstep, hip hop—you name it, we’ve experimented with it. Briidges is the natural result of all those years of sonic exploration.

I’ve always been obsessed with classic hip-hop production and sampling, and after years of touring and beat-making across the country, I finally landed back in Indianapolis in 2018. As soon as Johnny and I reconnected, it was like no time had passed. We picked up right where we left off and started cooking up beats again, which eventually led to Lost & Found.

We didn’t put any rules on this one—no “right way” to record, no specific gear list, just whatever felt good in the moment. Some tracks came together using an OP-1 and live drums in the middle of a state park, others were built in a studio with a full DAW setup. The whole project was pure instinct and experimentation, which is exactly why we called it Lost & Found—we let ourselves wander creatively, and this is what we ended up with.
