All Them Witches- Dub Passageways

This was my first time mixing for ATW, and what a way to kick things off. The band had a stash of unreleased tracks they were ready to share, including a dub version of Open Passageways—and when they hit me up to take it on, I didn’t even have to think about it. Dub has been in my DNA for years, so getting the chance to apply that knowledge to a project like this was a dream.

Dub is all about feel—it’s about space, texture, and knowing when to strip things back or push the sound to the edge. I went deep into the process, reshaping the track with swirling echoes, reverbs that stretched into infinity, and heavy, pulsating low-end that gave the song a completely new energy. The original Open Passageways had a strong foundation, but this mix gave it a different kind of life, transforming it into something hazy, hypnotic, and totally fresh.

This project was pure creative freedom. ATW trusted me to take their song into uncharted territory, and that’s exactly what I did. The final result doesn’t just complement the original—it reinvents it. It’s the kind of remix that stands on its own while still paying homage to where it came from. I couldn’t be more stoked about how it turned out, and I’m grateful to ATW for letting me go all in on it.
